Hyelda Joseph Fomnya is a seasoned IT specialist, digital transformation leader, cybersecurity professional and accomplished project manager with over 15 years of experience spanning software development, systems integration, cybersecurity, project management and IT infrastructure leadership.

As Chief Technology Officer of Cognetik Technologies, he sets the technology vision for the organisation and has led cross-functional teams across Africa to deliver secure, scalable and future-ready digital solutions — from pioneering Africa’s first telco-led mobile device financing platform to automating complex ERP systems for major institutions.

A natural bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, Hyelda has a particular strength for translating complex technology — including artificial intelligence and emerging digital tools — into practical capability that people can apply confidently in their day-to-day work.
